Freaky Fly Bry's Top 100 - April 1, 2018

For only the second time this year (after Bruno Mars), the #1 song is not by Kate Voegele or Kelly Clarkson! Lorde gets her second #1 with "Supercut", which was one of my instant favourites on her "Melodrama" album. Her previous #1? "Perfect Places" from the same album.

Meghan Trainor gets her second top 5, taking "No Excuses" after reaching #1 with "No" in 2016.

Following their memorable Juno Awards performance which reunited them with former lead singer Steven Page, the Barenaked Ladies enter the top 10 for their 8th time with "Canada Dry", a song with several patriotic Canadian mentions. It is their first top 10 hit in 5 years.

While she has charted in featured appearances a few times (most notably with Fun. and Duran Duran), and had a few minor hits of her own as well, soul sensation Janelle Monae gets her first solo top 10 hit with the funky "Make Me Feel".

The highest debut is the new single by Shawn Mendes, as "In My Blood" lands at #26. To date, he has reached the top 10 four times, with this having a good shot at becoming his fifth.
